Wallpaper

Wallpaper...that's what the guy is doing with the corrugated tin. He is covering the walls of his office with it! Then he has some old license plates from the 1950's that he is going to hang on the corrugated. I guess it could look good if it's done right, it would be interesting to see what it looks like when he's done.

I'm Not All Bad

I was looking through my box of "stuff" that mom saved over the years & I found this letter. I must have done something right to get this:)

Who Would of Thought?

You never know what you can sell on craigslist! I was looking at the wanted listings on craigslist to see if there was anything listed that might be here in Joe's dad's yard, and what do you know someone was looking for old RUSTED corrugated tin to BUY. We had just torn down an old carport made out of the stuff & have about 15 sheets of it. The guy actually wants the stuff at $1.00 a sheet (makes me wonder if we should have asked for more;) but hey it beats paying to take it to the dump! I guess it's true one mans trash is another mans treasure...I wonder what he is going to do with it?

Sometimers

So I've been sitting here thinking was Bobby McGillis Dana's age or Kathie's??? I guess I'm getting old, I got the memory right...but do I have the right sister?

Happy Birthday Dana!

Today is Dana's birthday. I guess I was kinda mean to Dana when she was little but anyway here are some of my memories. I remember dangling Dana over the big outside trash can & telling her I was going to throw her away. I also remember packing her a suitcase & telling her she was going to go live at my friend Teri McGillis & her little brother Bobby was going to come live here because mom & dad really wanted a boy. One good thing I remember was my senior year I was on Senior Class Council & we were planning Homecoming we wanted little kids to present the Homecoming Court with their crowns so Dana & Jude (a boy her age that lived down the street) had that honor. I think I would have been too scared at that age to walk out on the football field at halftime & do that but she did a good job. I am proud to call you my sister Dana, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
